1938 The Jewish community in Nazi Germany is attacked with thousands of shops looted and 267 synagogues burned in what has become known as Kristallnacht, Translated as “Night of Broken Glass”, these orchestrated attacks continued into the following day. Thirty six people died during the rampage and over 20000 were arrested.
